What it means
PC10 is the crossing family's unmarked box: a contravention of the pedestrian crossing regulations recorded where neither the moving nor the stationary code was used. As with TS70 and AC30, the certificate behind it carries the facts and the code carries only the family and the flat 3. If the paperwork says PC10, the paperwork is the document that matters.

The PC codes police the crossings under s. 25 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, flat 3s on the 4-year offence clock (gov.uk, checked 2026-07-22), split by whether the vehicle was moving: PC20 for the precedence and approach offences, PC30 for stopping in the controlled zigzag area, PC10 where the conviction was recorded without the split. The family's modern twist is double enforcement: an officer's case puts points on a record, a council camera watching the same markings writes a civil penalty charge with none, and which letter arrives decides which regime you are in. A police stop typically ends in an endorsable fixed penalty carrying the flat 3 points (gov.uk, checked 2026-07-22); there is no routine camera version of this code.
